Parrot CK3000 EVOLUTION Black Edition Manual

Get your hands on the best technology in onboard telephony

Parrot’s development teams have drawn on their expertise in Bluetooth® technology, voice recognition and sound processing to streamline the operation of the CK3000 EVOLUTION Black Edition in order to develop a car kit that offers clear conversations, despite the noise particularly inherent in driving.

Design and audio quality: choose a kit that integrates seamlessly into the car
The CK3000 EVOLUTION Black Edition features a discreet design that is hardly noticeable on the dashboard. In the event of a call, the car radio automatically cut outs, so that the speakers can transmit the conversation, and the microphone clearly reproduces the sound of your voice.

The Quick Start Guide for Collaborative Project Management

STARTING MERLIN SERVER
Start the Merlin Server by dragging the slider from “Off“ to “On“. The Server will then automatically publish all projects from the Shared Folder. The active services are indicated with a glowing green light. Merlin Server is now running.

FIX PERMISSIONS
It can be, that there was an issue copying the projects to the Shared Folder. For that reason the permissions have to be fixed. The privileges for the shared project files can be fixed with a click on the option “Fix Permissions…”, which can be found in the Merlin Server pane. The project files can not be used with the server, as long as the permissions are not fixed.

ACL: ACCESS CONTROL LIST
Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard and 10.5 Leopard use Access Control Lists by default. These lists control all permissions to the system. Merlin Server needs active ACLs in order to function properly.

IT Project Governance Guide

Step 1- Project Identification

The first step in the IT Governance process is the identification of those IT Projects across the campus that may have significant impact on the campus in terms of outside funding requirements, technological integration, deployment impact, and project management needs.

A major source of information for this step is the identification of such projects through the annual campus strategic planning process. In addition, some projects may arise on an ad hoc basis in response to emergent needs. It is neither necessary nor practical for all IT Projects to pass through the entire IT Governance Process described in this guide. The intent of the governance process is to apply good judgment and to focus attention and resources only on those projects that truly require it and that have the greatest impact on the campus.

Quick Guide to Project Management

The Project Lifecycle

This book assumes that your project has already been selected, and that a Project Charter has been produced. A Project Charter is generally a document that provides a short description of the project and designates the Project Manager. Sometimes a commercial contract also leads to the initiation of project especially in firms specialized in providing professional/consulting services.

Initiating:

During the initiating process, you will refine the project goals, review the expectations of all stakeholders, and determine assumptions and risks in the project. You will also start project team selection — if the project team has been imposed, then you need to familiarize yourself with their skill set and understand their roles in the project. At the end of this phase you will produce a Statement of Work (SOW), which is a document that provides a description of the services or products that need to be produced by the project.

Software Security Engineering – A Guide for Project Managers

The Goal of Software Security Engineering
Software security engineering is using practices, processes, tools, and techniques that enable you to address security issues in every phase of the software development life cycle (SDLC). Software that is developed with security in mind is typically more resistant to both intentional attack and unintentional failures. One view of secure software is software that is engineered “so that it continues to function correctly under malicious attack” [McGraw 20063] and is able to recognize, resist, tolerate, and recover from events that intentionally threaten its dependability. Broader views that can overlap with software security (for example, software safety, reliability, and fault tolerance) include proper functioning in the face of unintentional failures or accidents and inadvertent misuse and abuse, as well as reducing software defects and weaknesses to the greatest extent possible regardless of their cause.

NetFile Major Donor User Guide

What is NetFile – Major Donor?
NetFile allows you to quickly and securely enter, manage and share all of your compliance information. NetFile – Major Donor prints the following FPPC reports:

  • 461—Major Donor and Independent Expenditure Committee Campaign Statement
  • 497—Late Contributions Received or Made
  • 496 —Late Independent Expenditures

You can electronically transmit completed reports to the California Secretary of State.

What NetFile does for you
With paper reporting, you must re-enter all information by hand every time you create a new document.

Save time and effort
With NetFile, you enter most information just one time, and NetFile records the information in a database. So the next time you need a particular contributor or vendor address for a new report, you can tell NetFile to find it for you.

Reusable records
By creating reusable records, NetFile saves you the time and bother of having to re-enter information every time you create or amend a report.
