Getting Started

1. Visit the Google Analytics homepage by typing the following URL in your browser’s address box: http://www.google.com/analytics/setup.html
2. If you do not have a Google Account, then click on the “Sign Up Now” link.
3. If you do have a Google Account, then enter your Email address and Password in the appropriate boxes and click on the “Sign in” button.
4. Do you have an account and don’t remember your login information? If so, then click on the “I cannot access my account” link.

Create a Google Account

1. Enter an email address of your choice, that you can access, to receive your confirmation link.
2. Type in a password and re-enter in the following box for verification.
3. If you are the only one who uses your computer, then feel free to check the “Remember me on this computer” link. Otherwise, for your security I would advise you uncheck the box.
4. For privacy purposes, uncheck the “Enable Web History” box.
5. Type the characters displayed in the picture on your monitor.
6. View the Google Terms of Service, Analytics Terms of Service & Privacy Policy and if you accept the terms Indicated, then click on the “I accept. Create my account” button to continue.

Email Verification Message

1. After you click on the button, check the email account that you entered in the previous step for a message from: “accounts-noreply@google.com,” with the subject: “Google Email Verification.”
2. Click on the link that is provided in the message.

Sign In to Google Account

1. The link from the email message links to this page which will open up in a new browser tab or window.
2. Click on the “click here to manage your account profile” link or “Sign In” link to setup your Google Analytics profile.
