Arranging a comfortable work area

Working safely and comfortably begins with the arrangement of your work space and the proper use of equipment. For this reason, it is very important to take time and think about how you are going to arrange your work area. Refer to the diagram on the following page as you set up your system.

Here are some points to consider:

Adjusting your chair

Having the right kind of chair does not necessarily mean you’ll be properly supported. It is necessary to adjust your chair to fit your body. Proper body posture will make you more comfortable and productive.

• Avoid tilting your chair. If you have a chair that tilts, lock the tilt knobs so that your chair will not tilt forward or backward while you are using your computer.

Tennis

Simply swing the Wii Remote to play a match of doubles tennis. You don’t need to press any buttons. Each player needs his own Wii Remote. The team that wins the required number of matches first wins the game.

Holding the Wii Remote (for right-handed players) :

• Hold it as would hold a tennis racket.
• Put your wrist through the Wii Remote strap and fasten it to prevent it from escaping your hand.
• Swing gently.

Serving :

• Swing the Wii Remote up…
• and then down to serve the ball.
• Toss the ball up. You also can toss with the A Button.
• Hit the ball.

Strokes :

• Judge the ball direction and swing accordingly. When the ball comes to your right, swing on the right side. When the ball approaches your left side, swing on the left. You can lob and give the ball a spin depending on how you hit.

Create a single installer
If the installer spans in multiple discs, create a single installer.

1. Create a folder on your hard disk.
2. Insert Disc 1, and copy all the contents of Disc 1 into the folder that you created.
3. Insert Disc 2, open the Payloads folder, and copy all its content.
4. Open the Payloads folder of the folder on your hard disk, and paste the copied content. If you get a message to overwrite the existing files, click Yes.
5. Open the Extension folder of Disc 2, if it exists, and copy all its content.
6. Open the Extension folder of the folder on your hard disk, and paste the copied content. If you get a message to overwrite the existing files, click Yes.
7. Repeat steps 3–6 for the remaining discs.

The new folder on your hard disk is the single installer and is used to create a package.

Before you start. At least 90% of any repainting is surface preparation. The finish is only as good as the surface to which it is bonded. Stripping off old finish can be done in three ways:

1. With a chemical remover
2. With heat
3. With abrasives

Sometimes it takes all three. It always involves lots of muscle power and plenty of patience.

Professional wood stripping is done by dipping the piece to be stripped into a large vat where it is immersed in a chemical bath. In seconds the powerful chemicals remove all old finish right down to the bare wood. The piece is then removed from the vat and hosed off with water. The cost of this service is not prohibitive. However, the chemicals are so harsh that a really fine piece of furniture can be damaged. The treatment can take the “life” out of the wood and it can damage glue joints. If in doubt ask before dipping.
