Apple iPod Nano Take Apart Repair Manual

Introduction

Welcome to the iPod nano Take-Apart manual. Nanos are small and fragile, so you have to handle them with care. The inside is pretty much one piece including the logic board, battery (which is soldered on), RAM (2 or 4GB), headphone jack, and data port. There is one slight difference between the design of the 2GB and 4GB models. The 2GB model in the revisions seen so far have a socketed daughterboard. This allows for easy replacement of the RAM by just removing a couple of screws. The 4GB models have the RAM chip soldered directly to the logic board making it nearly impossible to change RAM chips without the proper soldering equipment. This manual will show a comparison between the two models a little bit later.

Your Guide To Lowering Blood Pressure

What Are High Blood Pressure and Prehypertension?

Blood pressure is the force of blood against the walls of arteries. Blood pressure rises and falls throughout the day. When blood pressure stays elevated over time, it’s called high blood pressure.

The medical term for high blood pressure is hypertension. High blood pressure is dangerous because it makes the heart work too hard and contributes to atherosclerosis (hardening of the arteries). It increases the risk of heart disease (see box 1) and stroke, which are the first- and third-leading causes of death among Americans. High blood pressure also can result in other conditions, such as congestive heart failure, kidney disease, and blindness.

Risk Factors for Heart Disease

Risk factors are conditions or behaviors that increase your chances of developing a disease. When you have more than one risk factor for heart disease, your risk of developing heart disease greatly multiplies. So if you have high blood pressure, you need to take action. Fortunately, you can control most heart disease risk factors.

Chevrolet Volt – Emergency Response Guide

The intent of this guide is to provide information to help you respond to emergency situations involving Chevrolet Volt vehicles in the safest manner possible. This guide contains a general description of how the Chevrolet Volt vehicle systems operate, identifies the location of the unique badging, and includes illustrations of the unique components. The guide also describes methods of disabling the high voltage system and identifies cut zone information.

The Chevrolet Volt is a front-wheel drive, four-passenger electric vehicle with extended-range capability. The vehicle is propelled exclusively by electric motors. The Volt uses high voltage energy that is stored in the high voltage battery as its primary power source. However, once the battery capacity is reduced, the gasoline engine drives a generator which produces electricity to power the vehicle.

A Guide to Protecting Your Home from Wildfire

Recognizing Wildfire Risk

How do you know if you’re at risk from wildfire? It is easy to see that a home is at risk from wildfire if it sits in the middle of a woodlot or on the edge of an overgrown field. Additionally, homes are also at risk in what fire experts call the Wildland-Urban Interface (WUI).

The WUI can be anywhere along the suburban fringe. Many denselydeveloped suburban neighborhoods with four-lane streets and stoplights are at significant risk from wildfire. The WUI can also be small, developed lots around a lake , or small tracts in a forested area. It’s hard to say exactly where the risk ends, but having undeveloped woodlands and fields in and around a neighborhood means that residents should know how to prepare their homes for wildfire.
